Acclaimed jazz pianist and Berklee faculty member Zahili Zamora shares an unforgettable afternoon celebrating the vibrant fusion of Afro-Cuban roots music and jazz.
Zahili González Zamora is a Cuban-born pianist, composer, arranger, and educator whose music bridges Afro-Cuban tradition with the forward-looking spirit of contemporary jazz.
A summa cum laude graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute master’s program—where she studied under Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, and Joe Lovano—Zahili has quickly become a distinctive voice in the international jazz landscape. Her work is acclaimed for its rhythmic sophistication, luminous harmonic language, and deep emotional narrative rooted in migration, identity, and transformative resilience
Roxbury Concert Series aims to showcase the vibrant and diverse talent that coexists within the city of Boston. Offering a series of events across multiple genres and disciplines, RCS intends to bring the highest level of artistry to the heart of the Roxbury neighborhood using as its main venue the iconic Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library
