Taiwanese dancer and choreographer Huang Yi takes the stage with an unconventional dance partner: an industrial robot arm made by the KUKA corporation. In a time when our dance with technology can feel daunting, Huang Yi & KUKA dovetail beauty, tenderness, and nuance. They showcase the fascinating push and pull between humanity and our creations, through choreography, proving that this dynamic doesn’t always need to be a battle: it can also be a duet.
