Zahili González Zamora is a Cuban-born pianist, composer, arranger, and educator whose music bridges Afro-Cuban tradition with the forward-looking spirit of contemporary jazz.
A summa cum laude graduate of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute master’s program—where she studied under Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, and and Joe Lovano—Zahili has quickly become a distinctive voice in the international jazz landscape. Her work is acclaimed for its rhythmic sophistication, luminous harmonic language, and deep emotional narrative rooted in migration, identity, and transformative resilience.
Experience Zahili Zamora’s genre-fusing improvisation and celebrate the power of creativity!
Presented in association with Ágora Cultural Architects
“In addition to explorations of Habanera-steeped rhythms and textures and flourishes of American big band tradition, Zamora incorporates spacious and lovely melodies that soar beyond any descriptives.”
