Our four flagship community engagement programs are guided by our vision of a community of Greater Boston where the performing arts are a valued, lifelong, shared experience—on stages, on streets, in neighborhoods—everywhere.
Neighborhood Arts is our series of free concerts by outstanding Boston-based and -affiliated artists. The concerts span dance, folk, chamber music, jazz, global, and more, filling beloved community spaces across our city with music and joy.
With workshops, post-performance artist talks, lecture demonstrations, and masterclasses for students from the elementary through conservatory levels, we invite touring artists from around the world into our communities.
Our free outdoor participatory events connect audiences and artists all across the city and activate some of Boston's iconic public spaces. Recent projects include Jazz Along the Charles, Let's Dance Boston, and Concert for One.
Every season, we welcome hundreds of audience members from schools, youth arts groups, and other Boston-based community organizations with complimentary and $10 tickets for organizational partners.
