Hailed by The New Yorker as "a living legend," pianist Fred Hersch and his trio move between stillness and surprise, luminous lyricism and fearless exploration. The Museum of Science suits an artist inspired by neuroscience: Hersch's multimedia opus My Coma Dreams was drawn from dreams he remembered after surviving a two-month coma. In a hall that will showcase Hersch's subtlety and sensitivity, come ready to listen closely to an outstanding pianist and composer.

“One of the major ensembles of our time. ”
