Please join us for the first Patron Engagement Committee meeting of the 2026/27 season. This meeting will take place in-person at the Vivo Performing Arts office.
In the meeting, we will split into three breakout groups to discuss the following questions. If you are passionate about a certain topic, please indicate your preference below.
1. Cultivation Events: We’ve historically tiered our events by membership level as an exclusive benefit, however, we’ve received feedback that people would like to see younger patrons at donor events as well as meet new people they haven’t met before. How might we expand our donor events audience while maintaining the incentive for members to progress through membership levels? Should event exclusivity remain a core tenet of membership?
2. Opening Night: It’s been some time since Vivo Performing Arts held an Opening Night celebration. What would make for a fun, meaningful, and unique Opening Night format for the 27/28 season? What are other organizations in Boston doing to celebrate their Opening Nights?
3. Offsite Events: Our survey indicated higher satisfaction for events taking place outside of our performance venues. How can we offer more offsite events at creative locations while ensuring that we link each event to our organizational mission?
