Nadine Sierra
soprano

NEC's Jordan Hall

Praised for her vocal beauty, seamless technique, and abundant musicality, Nadine Sierra is hailed as one of the most promising young talents in opera today. After a string of successful debuts at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Paris Opera, and Staatsoper Berlin, she has become a fixture at many of the top opera houses around the world.

She returns to Boston Lyric Opera, where she had early career triumphs as Gilda in Rigoletto and as Tytania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, for a special one-night-only recital performance alongside pianist Bryan Wagorn.

Sierra's wide-ranging program encompasses American standards and Broadway favorites, Spanish and Latin American art song, Neapolitan melody, Brazilian repertoire, and must-hear Italian opera essentials.

Presented by Boston Lyric Opera in association with Vivo Performing Arts.

“Sierra was luscious, lovely and free throughout her range—daring to glory in her sound, she touched the operatic firmament. The applause went on and on.”
