PLAN YOUR VISIT

Twelfth Baptist Church is a historical church in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston on Warren Street. At the main entrance, there are two stone steps to reach the front doors. The performance will take place in the sanctuary, which is accessible by three short staircases and an elevator on the first floor.

To ensure you are on time for the performance, please arrive early. Specific information about when doors will open for your event will be sent in your pre-show email. Seating after the performance has begun will be at the discretion of management and may be delayed until a suitable pause in the performance.

Twelfth Baptist Church is an accessible venue. An accessible entrance is located to the right of the main entrance, where a staff member will be present before the performance. We will have accessible seating available in the sanctuary, which can be reserved in advance by submitting an accessibility request here.

An elevator on the main floor provides access to the performance space, and the bathrooms and reception area are accessible on the first floor.

The Vivo Performing Arts offers sign language interpretation upon request. Requests for sign language interpreters must be received at least four weeks prior to the event by contacting Vivo Performing Arts at 617-482-6661 or boxoffice@vivoperformingarts.org. All requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter and provided at the discretion of the management.

Vivo Performing Arts provides Assistive Listening Devices at all Neighborhood Arts venues.

Accessible Transit: The nearest accessible MBTA stop is the Orange Line's Roxbury Crossing stop. It is located at approximately 1400 Tremont Street, Roxbury MA and is 0.9 miles away from Twelfth Baptist Church although the path is NOT mostly flat and has some hills. There are also public bus stops on both sides of the street near the venue.

First-come, first-serve parking is available in the staff parking lot directly to the right of the church. There is a larger public parking area located across from the church, approximately 40 spaces, where more parking is available. There is also limited free street parking along Warren and St. James streets.
