The Museum of Science’s Public Science Common is the world’s stage for science: a place where art, science, and technology converge to spark discovery, ignite dialogue, and reimagine what’s possible. Opening in October 2026, it’s designed for convenings, live experiences, creator-led conversations, and global audience participation. The 10,000-square-foot space will be transformed for this partnership into an intimate dance space with 275 seats and a breathtaking jazz club that can seat 400 at tables and on risers. Audiences will be wrapped in 270 degrees of floor-to-ceiling glass, offering spectacular views of the Charles River and Boston skyline. At its core, Deep Space technology—the only installation of its kind in the United States—fuses immersive wall and floor projections, LiDAR tracking, and a d&b Soundscape spatial audio system into a fully responsive, multi-sensory environment.
